2 voiceouts -Sunday, July 05, 2009 - by Gaius Every year, a mysterious phenomenon lasting approximately 3 months descends upon the Northern hemisphere, driving the prodigal sons of Singapore back home. This phenomenon, more commonly known as "summer" (or "winter" in the Southern hemisphere), recently saw the return of Yang Wei, Chean Xiu, and myself. Our ever-efficient Mr Chiu promptly organised gatherings, ostensibly to catch-up, but most probably to see if he could score some free weed.  12 June: And here we have Yang Wei's gathering at a local Starbucks (Liat Towers). He, Gab, Weiqi and Justin look pretty high, with the exception of Jia Ming, whose coffee was most probably inadvertently left out in the doping process.  30 June: For Chean Xiu and I, we had dinner at a porridge buffet restaurant. Everyone had a great time, chatting and catching up with each other, but Max and Keefe could not keep their hands off each other. Apparently certain relationships have drastically improved in the 9 months I was away. cumstal at 10:25 PM

Viewer discretion is advised. On a side-note, Weiqi and Xz play a supporting role as well in this photo montage.  This is Mr Chiu Weiqi with his business friends. What do business people do on a night out? Why they drink to each other's health of course! Enjoy this photo of a sober Weiqi - it will be the last. Before the night is out he will be stone-drunk and pushing everyone into the water.  Thankfully, Weiqi only gets slightly drunk before Aston and Xz, being the good friends they are, come to his aid, or rather, the aid of the people Weiqi might potentially push into the water. Xz shows off the latest gang sign he recently learnt.  Weiqi manages to lose Aston and Xz, and immediately finds himself facing another camera. "Oh shit", Weiqi thinks, "How am I going to push someone into the water with so many cameras around??"  Aston sneaks off for some private time, but thankfully the CCU paparazzi are worth every cent I pay for them, and we get this cute picture. Here, his girlfriend shows off the latest gang sign she's acquired from Xz.  Not only do Singaporeans block the doors of MRT trains, they block entire staircases as well! Aston looks particularly pleased at this.  Everyone wants a piece of her, but no, "SHE'S MINE!", Aston roars as he protectively shields her from the advancing horde.  And Aston the alpha male is triumphant! Three cheers and three cheers! She flashes the gang sign as a sign of her approval.  Just some random picture of Aston attempting to look cool. Nothing to see here folks! Move along, move along now!  Hmm.. a girl leaning forward and licking her fingers. Why is she doing that? Your options: a) Weiqi is finger-licking good or b) the chicken is finger-licking good. Which is the answer?  10 years after everyone picks up the gang sign, Aston finally gets it! When interviewed for this article, Aston explained that, "Yeah it makes me feel incredibly tough and macho, I was starting to feel hen-pecked, but now there's no going back!" cumstal at 12:30 AM
0 voiceouts -Wednesday, June 17, 2009 - by Gaius Lim  This is Daryl. Daryl is a normal guy, just like you and me. By day, he loiters around expensive football stadiums taking countless photographs, trying but always just failing to look into the camera lens. We would think that Daryl, after years of cam-whoring, would know which part of the camera to look at by now. Oh well.  By night, he peddles jerseys, such as this one. Would you like to buy one? It's 3 for $19.99. Daryl will even throw in a free hanger and one of those trademark wide grins of his.  Daryl met and married a beautiful girl who, unfortunately, enjoys dressing up as a man made of lego, so we cannot ascertain his claim that she is Very Beautiful.  But as we all know, good things don't last, and Daryl's idylic, perfect life came crashing down the day Darth Vader attacked! According to Daryl, Darth Vader stole his beautiful wife, but I suspect she was simply attracted by his sexy growl and ran off willingly with him. I mean - Darth Vader, Daryl. The choice is pretty clear.  Daryl had to get her back! But how could he fight the Dark Side? Why, by joining the mysterious organisation known only by the initials MVWY (Masked Vigilantes Wearing Yellow) of course!  The MVWYers get their strength and courage from the strange substance known as "shisha", which was apparently invented by extremely stressed-out computing students from Carnegie Mellon University.  So Daryl, with his newfound abilities, faced off with Darth Vader in a duel to the death, unfortunately, no pictures of the duel were located on Facebook, hence we have decided to substitute it with this picture of a green BMW instead. 0 voiceouts -Friday, May 29, 2009 - captions by Gaius  Having left Cambridge a burning, twisted ruin of a university, Spensey the Destroyer cooly dons his sunglasses against the glare of the flaming debris and turns his sights on a bigger target - Greece.  Unfortunately, his first target, the 564th Ancient Greek Temple, was already, well, ruined. Spenser stomps off in search of less pre-ruined buildings to destroy.  Some tasty local beer to wash down that Greek grub with? Not really, what's the Greek word for "Molotov cocktail"?  Spenser starts off his rampage by pushing innocent citizens into the bay, after first ensuring the photographer is in an ideal position to capture the carnage.  He then takes a break with his minions, but not before posing in a highly scenic location for a photoshoot. Okay I can somewhat see how the poses of the two guys with him might be conceived as cool, but what in the world is Spenser doing, stabbing himself in the heart??  Don't be fooled by Spensey's sweet smile, he's sitting on 500 kilos of C4 plastic explosive!  And he sets off to conquer the land (by ATV)...  And the sea (by sampan). o r i g i n s CCU was founded in September 2001, during a chemistry lesson on crystals. The blueprint for the smash hit product - cumstal was drawn out by Gaius. Consequently, more products were dreamed up and put into production. A notable few include the dickstal and cuntstal products Gaius then decided to set up a local company to market his products more effectively. A company needs employees, and where better to start then his very own class 2E1? Gradually, CCU grew into a worldwide recognised Multi-National Company, reknown for its quality and services. And the rest, as they say, is history. |
